Do I Need to Purchase a Maintenance Program?

NO – You don’t have to purchase a maintenance program. But keep in mind that making changes and additions to your website does take time and without being enrolled in one of our maintenance programs the costs can really add up at $10/change.

Remember, most good websites have new content updated regularly. Fresh content is what will keep your visitors coming back.

How Long Does It Take To Design My Website?

Please allow at least 2 weeks until you can expect to see your website go live from receipt of payment and all source files. The time frame is also determined by the size of your web site, the complexity of your site design, and our current client design schedule.

What Is A Domain Name and How Do I Get One?

Ok…the technical stuff first, Domain Name System, or DNS, is the most recognized system for assigning addresses to Internet web servers (aka “Internet hosts”). Somewhat like international phone numbers, the domain name system helps to give every Internet server a memorable and easy-to-spell address. Simultaneously, the domain names keep the really technical IP address invisible for most viewers.

What does that mean for you? Well, your domain name is what you call your website plus the extention. For example: our domain name is BigRedWebDesign.com. But it could just as easily have ended in “.net” or “.info”.

don’t forget to add one of the following:

.com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, .me, .name, .co

Can I upgrade to a higher Website Design rate?

Of Course!

You can upgrade to a higher web design rate at any time while keeping your template choice. Instead of having to buy a whole new design, your previous design rate will be applied to the new price.

EX: You bought a “Best of Both Worlds” website design for $200 and you now want to move up to “The Works” – which is usually $300. It will actually only cost you $100 to Upgrade!

So…Big Red Designed Me a Website But Now I Want to Change the Template?

No problem!

But keep in mind, when you completely change your website’s original template design it is just like starting a new website – all of your site’s information will have to be reentered. It is basically starting over, so you will have to pay for a new design – BUT as a returning customer, you get 10% off redesigns!
